Junior Block Manager- £30-33K per annum
We are keen to find a hard-working Junior Block Manager for our client. Our client is a specialist in residential block management and due to continued growth in their portfolio they are looking for a Junior Block Manager to join the team. This would suit an Assistant Property Manager looking for a step up in their career. You will have 2 years experience as an Assistant Property Manager or 12 months experience as a Junior Block Manager. You will have excellent time management skills, be able to prioritise, have outstanding customer service skills. You must have a full UK Driving license and own car.
Junior Block Manager Job responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional levels of service to clients
- Undertaking regular site inspections of residential blocks in their portfolio making sure that there are follow up visits with a site inspection report as necessary
- Playing a key role in negotiations relating to long-term qualifying agreements
- Identifying repairs that need to be undertaken on site, and instructing contractors, making sure that only approved contractors who are instructed on blocks managed by the company are used
- Preparing and issuing service charge budgets
- Managing a portfolio of estates
- Dealing with the day to day running of the estates
- Liaising with contractors and surveyors as required
- Making sure you keep up to date with legislative changes and major case law
- Identifying repairs that need to be undertaken on site, and instructing contractors, making sure that only approved contractors who are instructed on blocks managed by the company are used
- Attend and Chair client meetings, AGMs, residents’ meetings etc at the client’s request
